Ford mondeo water in drivers footwell. 6TDCi Mk5 Mondeo so I hope Im doing this right! So I just noticed today the rear footwell on the drivers side is very damp/wet. Before that sometimes I smelled dodgy thing in the car, but I could not notice that much water as today. But I am confused by looking at the location of the water sipping. Solution was to dry out remove weather strip and use black mastic to resell windscreen. I have had carpet up and removed some sound proofing. Has anyone had this problem themselves, I haven't had a chance to do any investigating as yet. Thank you! Have had the wife directing a hosepipe over the area I thought it was coming in from, but could not see any water dripping/running inside the car. Jul 7, 2016 · Mine is as mentioned above but have just carefully poured water into that white piece and eventually, water started coming out under the car.
